Many changes have been seen in the last 10 years in the construction industry. With an exponential rise in demand, many firms continued to expand to meet their clients needs rapidly, and the rapid expansion in the industry left gaping voids that were at the time covered by the added value with the high demand.

In 2006, the construction industry faced an unparalleled decline in new construction that continues to this day. Many companies have debts or other obligations, as well as inefficiencies from the growth period that have made it difficult for them to be sustainable as prices for work fall. The idea of Intentio Consulting + Engineering was developed from this very concept - prices for the tools to do the work were falling rapidly, while engineering companies were struggling with managing expenses in the new environment. We built our model with the aim of providing the highest level of service at a reduced cost to our clients, and our model has demonstrated its success to date.

Intentio Consulting + Engineering, LLC officially opened for business on January 1, 2009.

We have frequently been asked about the name "Intentio" and it's origins.  Intentio is Latin, defined as "to plan" or "to intend".  Engineering is a planning process that demonstrates an "intent" to be built.  Likewise, Intentio has planned out an approach to planning and design.  We intend to deliver on our services.  That is Intentio, defined.
