Community Involvement

Intentio Consulting + Engineering recognizes that our future generations depend on management of our resources. Likewise, we see numerous needs in our local community, our industry, and globally.

Our staff have been actively involved in many local organizations, including South Forsyth Rotary Club, Leadership Forsyth, The Lanier Jaycees, Mentor Me, and Habitat for Humanity.

Education of tomorrow's youth is becoming more and more critical, and this is not just a community but an industry problem, as Americans come to terms with an ever changing global scale economy. We are in the process of providing assistance to a local chapter of ACE which will provide opportunities to teach high school students about opportunities in the fields of Architecture, Construction, and Engineering.

Intentio strives to be a leader in sustainable design. J. Alan Neal, P.E. is a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.  He has focused many hours in the last 5 years researching stormwater modeling with water quality that can economically maximize the benefits of our water resources while protecting the environment. Mr. Neal is presently involved in the technical committee to discuss implementation of runoff limits for the Etowah Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP).
